I am currently a security officer but have been known to drive a tow truck too. I am 33 yrs old and i am about to get married this oct 26th. I have a great little daughter that is not yet 2 yrs old. I am very intrested in science and other high tech fields. and I love to read sci-fi books too.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there is a possibility that there is life out there but I think it will still be a while before we find out about it. I dont think it would hurt in the least to send a signal out into space in the least, but i think that the information that we would send would probably basic in nature first like something on the science area or mathmatical nature given that not all intellinget life out there would even have a language close to humans. also the signal should be sent on a lot of frequencies to maximize the possibility of detection by another lifeform.
