1. Yes I do. I feel it could happen either by their contacting us or through SETI. Difficult to say. If it is through a direct contact by them with us, it will be beneficial, as they probably will do so to prevent man from destroying themselves sometime in the future.
2. Yes, we should send a beacon. I Think "Greetings from Planet Earth" in all languages would bee appropriate.
3. Searching the heavens for a signal is a great undertaking, considering the vast amount of space there is. This is why I contribute my computer's spare time in this undertaking. |
