Well…my interest in the night sky started when I was about 5 and witnessed an incredible meteor storm! Now, I’m the planetarium director for an elementary school in upstate NY. I always try to share my love of the night sky with children in our school. They just love the thought of extraterrestrial life and we hope that it’s our computer that finally finds a signal from somewhere out there! As I always tell the children…KEEP LOOKING UP!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have used the SETI@home screensaver from time to time on various computers. Now, I finally have a pc fast enough to crunch some serious numbers. Hopefully the exponential increase in processor speed that we are enjoying will be the key to discovering life from another world. KEEP LOOKING UP!
