Personal background
Hi,
My name is Jody and I was born on the 16.07.1976 in Sydney. Since leaving schhol I've worked for a publishing company and I'm a DTP by profession. My ultimate goal in life is to become an editor of a magazine. If I can achieve this, then I'd like to jump into the IT industry. Whether i make that goal or not is another story.

For entertainment I race karts and I'm a member of two kart clubs. I enjoy racing and meeting drivers from other clubs.

Computers and the internet is by far my most time comsuming and expensive hobby. I have an array of machines running different operating systems and network services. I have two machines running the seti software, one is dedicated to just seti.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that distributed data processing is an important part of research. Without research, we wouldnt have the standard of life that we do today. I run set@home because maybe we can't prove that it exists but we can't prove it doesn't either. The only way to find out, is to keep looking.
