| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1) In my humble opinion, extraterrestrial life exist and is not much rare, so we certainly discover some soon.. Benefits and dangers has been discussed very well in many sci-fi books, and I'm convinced that no one can imagine how exactly it will look like.
2) Yes, we certainly should transmit, and it's probably very wrong, that we are not doing so - what we should sent - simple, strong easily reckognizable signal saying that we are here - no other information is neccesary.
3) It's thrilling! Suggestions? None - except that you may try to make computer-sellers to sell computers with pre-installed seti@home!! |
