Hi, my name is Pieter (you can also pronounce it Peter), I'm a 25 year old cyber geek/gamer from South Africa ;-]
I study Computer Science part time, and work part time, for a small company by the name of Modintech, and play to many games the other part of the time.
I like RPG's, Warhammer and a number of PC games(like CS and Diablo2Exp).
I do some web design and scripting, and I am busy getting my hands dirty with Linux ;-] |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Thanks to Carl Sagan, I'm pretty sure that other intelligent life excists in the galaxy. Sad to say, but when we do find intelligent life the odds are that they might be to far away to have any meaningfull communtication.
But maybe we could communicate usefull ideas, and recieve some from them. For all we know, there might be a vast legacy of information coming our way, a gift from another species to the whole universe.
We have to keep on looking. The universe is to big for it to be devoid of sentient life. And with any luck, we might even find some on our planet ;-] |
