Hi, I am Dirk from Ingelheim, Germany.
I am a licensed physician and currently working on my doctoral thesis in the Dept. of Anatomy and Cell Biology of the local med. university in Mainz.
I was born in January 1975 in Heidelberg, lived in Singen, a small town near lake Constance from 1982-1994 and moved to the Rhine-Main region in 1997 when I started my studies of human medicine. Since May 28th 2005 I am married w/ Anke Bastelberger-Gustavus, who is also a member of the UFO team.
My main interests are computers, biological science, alternative healing methods (including phytotherapy, phsyiotherapy and homeopathy) and fantasy/sci-fi in general, resp. RPGs to be more precise.

| I run SETI@home because it is a very interesting project. I do believe that mankind can not be the only lifeform in this universe and that our so called intelligence is nothing against the nearly unlimitied space out there. |
