Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well, I think the odds are in favor of et life. As for when we will discover it, who knows, the galaxy is rather large. I have no problem transmitting beacons, since its apparent we have been doing so in a manner of speaking, for quite some time anyway. As for information, it is difficult to say other than the coordinates for Earth.

I run seti@home, because I was always interested in space and space travel and stuff sci-fi was made of!

I think its a great project, and its a shame that the folks down in Oz apparently lost their funding (as well as for watching for close earth objects).
I hope funding for seti continues from all sources.

I suggest that you assign different of the projects ppl to handle groups of email that deal with questions...I don't think in the almost 3 years I have been doing this, one was ever answered.
