| After spending the past 17 years of my life working in jobs I didn't like (retail and restaurant management at various levels), I decided to return to school. I have recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Geographic Information Systems. In the fall, I will begin a Master's program at Purdue University/ In my barely existent spare time, I enjoy golf (both disc and traditional), reading, and am a soccer nut (fan, player, and referee.) I have been happily married for 12 years. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do believe, and certainly hope, that life exists else where. I hate to think that all there is exists only on this planet. I doubt, though, that we will be sure that they exist until they are in orbit. If we aren't colonized, I hope that they would share their technology so that we could explore the heavens ourselves.
I decided to run SETI@home to help further our understanding of the science of outer space. Like many other participating, I am hoping that I can help find the answers. |
