Profile: Gary Freeman

Personal background
I am a school bus driver from the most beautiful place on earth. Lake Tahoe. The California side. As far away fron the casino lights as I can get. Some would say that driving a school bus is very much like driving a saucer with extraterrestrials as your passengers. I agree!

I enjoy riding my Honda 250R Quad on the sand dunes near here and in the evening, when everything is dark and quiet(?), I gaze upon the heavens and try to dream of people and galaxies light years away and hope that a signal processed by MY computer will be the one that proves the existance of beings not unlike ourselves.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been a science fiction fan since the 50's and have seen the fiction turn into fact.

I also believe in the exploration of "inner" space. Therefor I have explored the universe contained in us all through Meditation and breath.

As a science buff I have tried to stay abreast of the latest astronomy and use my telescope nightly, weather permitting.

Belief in other sentient beings in the universe is no longer in the fiction realm, rather, it is to be expected and that is why I allow SETI to use my computer for that search. Eventually life will be found and communication will commence and I would like to be part of that great success.
