| Hi, I'm Susan from Glendale, Arizona, U.S.A. I am a 48 year old housewife. In the past, I worked for Radio Shack and the U.S. Air Force. My husband, Dave, is a computer technician. I learned about SETI@Home from him, and couldn't get started fast enough. Dave built me a custom computer, and away we went! We had a few hiccups along the way, computer problems, a move from Lake Orion, Michigan to Glendale, Arizona, and a lot of fun figuring out BOINC. But it finally runs great; I just wish they'd give us our screen savers back! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I run SETI@Home because I have deep feelings about space, and whether or not there is anyone out there. I believe the project is extremely worthwhile; with all of the government spending cuts, I believe we must all do our share; whether or not someone is out there (I believe there IS someone out there), I think it would be wrong not to look!
I really miss the screen saver! |
