I am unemployed but look after my daughter,my wife died leaving me as a single parent.
My hobbies include building computers, SETI and drinking real ale. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. It would be hard to believe that we are not alone in the universe. Other life must exist on planets similar to our own. I believe that we can gain knowledge from other life-forms out there.
2. There are so many radio signals being transmitted on earth, that must already be leaking out into space. If we were to transmit a "Beacon" it should consist of music, this is a universal language.
3. I run SETI@home to help prove the existance of extraterrestrial inteligence. I think the project is worthwhile and should continue to search for life away from earth. |
