Through The Hour Glass

Are we just a grain of sand in the intersteller hourglass?.......
Are we on the top with time rushing from beneath us.......
or.......
on the bottom with time rushing toward us?.......
The grains of sand are quite happy moving toward their as yet
undefined destiny as we in our everyday life........
At birth we are the only universe and everything is an extention
of our physical body........
Soon we grow to understand that we are not the only grain of sand
cought in this free fall through time and space........
We travel down this life path and all but too soon are whisked past
the neck only to end up on the bottom of a dune with
countless other long forgotten grains of sand........
Is this our destiny or will the hourglass once again be up ended,
our endless trek continued through time and space
still impaled opon the wheel of Samsara?.......
We, as sentient beings, are that which the stars are created of
and
thus must ask questions that would seem to have
no answers.......

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. We are not alone, not now and/or not ever. The proof is all about us and all we have to do is look. The major problem is that some of the human race will not and/or can not accept that fact. The creator, regardless of aspect, does not place all of the eggs in one basket. Not only that but God by any other name is still God.
2. We should make ourselves known to other extraterrestrial life. DNA/RNA information and location should be xmitted.
3. We should run SETI for the same reason that mankind has look toward the stars in wonder. I would suggest all dead/dark computer time be utilized in support of the SETI project/mission. My only suggestion is the same that I have for the Manned and Unmanned Space Programs. "Keep On Keeping On" |
