| I am 27 years old and live in Littleton Co. I work as a software developer developing and designing systems for the retail industry. My hobbies include anything outdoors, working on the house( not sure if that is a hobby, but takes a lot of time ), and some art. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I believe in some sort of life outside our little blue planet. After watching so many shows on science and space, I can only assume someone else is out there. I am sure we will discover some form of life, but even if we do, performing a two-way communication will not be likely. The idea of finding another form of life is exciting enough and will maybe stir some heated discussions with the religious circles.
I run SETI because I want to help out and like the idea of being part of a global effort to process all the data out there. Even if we don't find anything in the data, at least we can get through it all and move on to some other search. I think this is a great project and hope it sparks some kind of interest to do other projects of this nature. |
