Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Is planet Earth in the very center of the universe? no? so why would we be alone then? In fact, there is only 2 possibilities:
-either we are the unique civilization in the whole universe,
-or there is "somebody" else where
Both possibilities are equaly amazing

2. we all wish to find: A) other humans B) whose civilization is hardly ahead of ours. Anything else than A&B will be a great risk (of annihilation)

3. unless we learn how to travel faster than light, there is no way we can even think of going where we could spot an intelligent signal....

I suggest a change in the client-interface: add a flash-6, 3D display of the universe showing the angle where the computed signal is coming from. That would increase people's interest in running the software
