Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Believe that there must be other intelligent life in the universe - probably significant others. Frankly a little trepidatious: On this planet alone we find ourselves beset by such cultural barriers that many of us cannot or will not understand one another. Are we ready to make contact with civilizations (for lack of a better word) outside even our own planetary conventions?
Nevertheless, thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in SETI and to make some miniscule contribution to the project.
