Profile: Tim Kalb

Personal background
Hello,
My name is Tim. I live in Santa Rosa, California. I am Forty and happily divorced. I worked for Applied Materials under contract and loved it. I have been downloading SETI work units since 2000 it was actually at their inception- but let's not quibble about chaged e-mail addresses and anyone who started this back when a 486DX was 'fastest system out there' remembers the gliches in the earlier software. No problems now. Thanks to all star gazers' out there whoever you are.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes, I believe. I don't think we will discover it in my lifetime. I don't really like to think about the possible implications. I would like to think we are progeny from an advanced civilization and that we are being monitored and if we don't screw up this planet anymore that it already is or we don't blow up this little blue marble, we call earth, than someday we will have a visit. That we all know about. I think the SETI project has the minds and the mindfullness as to what information should be sent. I run SETI@home because I want to be the one lucky enough to come accross the "signal". I have always believed in the project and hope for results for all of mankinds benefit.
