Always liked SETI...needs much more funding though.
I'm going to be the guy who proves that life elsewhere exists.
I believe we should be(as we are) transmitting our own signals out to various galaxies to be picked up on. Don't forget the deep space probes launched in the 70's. We need more though.
Basically, the only danger is we find hostile aliens and they come and destroy us...but think about it, this is already a danger to me everyday I get on the NYC subways...so what do I have to lose?
Maybe I'll find a hot alien babe (with cash) who likes tall, thin, fine white earthling men who would dig surfing the galaxy. |
