I am forty years young and enjoy many different activities some of which include cycling, reading, guitar & lyrics as well as speculation on the cosmos. My current occupation as a Systems Analyst/Developer keeps my mind occupied.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do not believe that we are alone for that concept is not rational even with the little we now know about our universe. I am not certain that light speed in the sense of a physical vehicle is possible but I am confident that it is formulas that will be ascertained once human kind understand their own galaxy more fully. Maybe it is possible that our galaxy itself is a well designed space craft traveling to some predetermined destination? LOL Who knows? The one thing that I am absolutely positive about is that the only chance of ever knowing anything is to search for answers no matter how unlikely the source.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
