I was Research Director at the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group in Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland until 2010. We've donated spare cycles from our machines to SETI@Home since around 1996, and I formally signed up as an individual member around 2003 when I had some machine capacity I administered directly myself. Though I've setup Team TSSG I don't think everything we've done is fully registered there :-( For more details about me see my personal weblog.
I'm now CTO of FeedHenry, a spinout company from the TSSG in WIT.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
