Profile: Mark Donovan

Personal background
Retired from the Air Force after assignments to Keesler AFB, Kirtland AFB, Los Angeles AFB, Mt Home AFB, Randolph AFB, Austin TX, and Korea. I worked in avionics maintenance and computer operations (up to E-6), and as a project officer and electronics engineer in research and development.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I joined SETI@home in May 1999 and contributed 7,000+ hours to classic project before switching to BOINC.

The greatest success of the SETI@home project is the development of SETI and BOINC software and popular acceptance of the project. It's an outstanding accomplishment... people around the world freely contributing to science, research and knowledge.
