Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1)Mathematically speaking, it would be crazy to think that there is not some other form of life out there. From a personal standpoint, it would be ignorant.

2) Sure. What could it hurt? Sending any sort of inforamation, other than just a signal that could not be created artificially, would be kind of pointless. I have a feeling a language barrier (even a mathematical one) would exist. But...howabout "Brush twice a day"

3) WHy not? What if I am the one to find something? Obviously my views are a positive one, other wise I would not be here. I wonder how much work could get done if every single PC hooked to the internet was working on this. Only suggestion I can think of is make it a little easier to find out what we are looking at in the screen saver.
