Do I think extraterristrial life exists? Of course I do :-). The universe is huge - it can't be possible that we are the only living beings in it.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? Well, maybe. As for what message should we send...well, I'm not much for originality, so just send something like "We are humans from the planet Earth. If you read this, please come and see us :-)"
As for why do I run SETI@home...well, I'd just like to make my little contribution to the search for extraterrestrial life...I think it's a great project and would recommend it to everyone. |
