| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I'm not sure the first time I heard about SETI or SETI@home. I know back in college, I set up the entire computer lab I ran to run the program. And recently, when I got a copy of Contact on DVD, I remembered how much I loved the whole idea. I also remember a biology teach in high school telling us that due to the sheer number of systems in the universe, even using the most consertative looks at the possibilities, there had to be something out there. |
