Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am a science fiction fan and running SETI makes me feel like a part of a possible future.
I think it is highly unlikely that we will make contact in my lifetime, but I do believe life is out there. Finding life we can communicate with seems like a shot in the dark - but what a cool shot!
I have to believe your search is helping humanity learn more than just what radio waves are flying around.
