Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Does ET exist?

I think so yeah, if i didnt i wouldnt be interested in helping with the SETI project. I hope that i get to see the discovery at some point in my life, i would then feel that i`ve contributed a little to that discovery by taking part in SETI@HOME.

i`m currently running SETI on 2 computers, one at Uni, and the other at home. Although the main proccessing of WU`s done on my computer at Uni.

I think that as we are looking for a signal from space to show that ET is out there, then i think we should be transmitting a signal as well. Perhaps, the signal that is being sent to us is something that we cannot understand or even see!. If we transmit a signal, although the same floor could happen, perhaps whoever gets is just might understand it.
i`m not sure what the trnasmission should consist of. Our location in space would be useful though!
