Im from France, 30 years old and i work in Hi-tech company as Peoplesoft administrator and DBA.
As a sense persone, i must believe extralife exist until i discover no. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1 - Of course i think there are life in our great space. Why are we alone ?
I think the difficulties if we meet some extralife is our mind limititation between the unknown ! We are sure we are alone and the best, but is it real ?
I think human have not grow up enough to explore such possibility to meet something different than that we know today. Maybe we will in 100 or 200 years far.
2 - We will be capable to understand signal or signs from other ? and are they much capable in this ? Im not sure, but our goal is to try and to prepare to discover extralife one day.
Information should we send ? im not sure we should send something, let extralife to discover us. if i must send some information, it will be S.O.S.
3 - Why not, my computer can help you and everyone who wants to believe in this project as i do. (not sure is correct). No of course, we must help SETI project to try to find something we don't even know. It was the same goal as Medecine hundred years ago or space travel now. We don't know where we are going but we must do it to see what is behind the door.
My suggestion is to see client which support multiprocessor to accelerate the process.
(Sorry for my english, don't hesitate to correct my sentence)
