to take pictures... My first telescope was a 4 inch Gilbert reflector.
I got it 50 years ago on the happiest Christmas morning of my life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
to paraphrase (possibly) Arthur C. Clark:

We are alone in the Universe.

We are not.
No matter which proposition is true, the
implications are absolutely astounding.
I think it is far more spooky to believe it's just us.
