Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
With the Vastness of Space. It is very Likely that there should be life of some sort out there.
We may benefit from it by venturing to discover it. At the same time we may be interfering with the development (evolution) and then again we may be the hope necessary for a dieing civilization, new life. The same may be apparent in the opposite.
We have so many signals roaming out into space, abeacon is not really necessary. If anyone is looking, there is alread alot to be found.
If we were to send a message as a welcome. We would have to hope that they speak earth languages. What we shold try doing is encrypting the message in the form of the Ancients (Egyptian), Pictures and Symbols rather than human spoken and written words.
Helping others is my nature, and someday hope to help others not of this Earth.
I run Seti@Home to help with the possible discovery. |
