Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
OK, Using the topics provided.
1. Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
The possibility was once best described by a writer. He made use of formulas. He calculated that the possibility of extraterrestrial life is infinity. As to the pros and cons. The same can be asked about nuclear power.

2. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
Why bother. The TV and Radio not to mention the armies of the world had been doing it for some time. Signals sent in the Second World War are to date heard on radio bands as they bounce back from other stellar bodies
