Personal background |
Born and raised in Seattle, been here most of my life, which started in 1977. I work for a local software dev house. My hobbies are computers, baseball, A/V (most notably, MythTV) and cars, or something like that. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. Yes. Who knows. Tons of both. I watch Stargate SG-1 on a regular basis...
2. Sure. A sample of human DNA or something.
3. Because I have lots of spare cpu cycles and want to see it proven that this lowly little planet isn't the only one in the universe with life on it. I think anyone that thinks otherwise is rather idiotic. I view this project as a much better use of my cpu time than many other things I could be doing. No suggestions at the moment... |
