| i am a freelance artist/photographer living in the rural area of upstate ny. and i have had a ongoing fasination with the world around us, not only the tactile horizon to horizon world, but the world that we are ocupying... our own small little cosmic rock that hurtiles around our life giving sun, along with our companions and the many more that we are just learning about. hobbies well my job (vocation) and my hobbies are mostly one in the same. just that they differ some what in format i work in multiple mediums and mixe them up at times such as acrylics, watercolour, handmade paper, handmade books, wall murals and canvas work. computer assisted graphic design, logos and the like. pen and ink - home and buisness portraits plus wedding and portrait photography. like i said i live in a very rural area so i have to keep my mind active since i have the tendency of getting bored with things very quickly........ i am also a standard, run of the mill, sifi nut. |

is there extra. life...simply put, YES, after all, if we are here then the proof is in front of our face the chances that we are the only life in the cosmos is well.. just off the board.
i was brought up as a baptist and all during my child hood the logical questions that i put forth to my religious teachers could not be answered. the fact that they could not see beyond there own world and think and realize that we are oh - so - small to all that is a part of "gods world". showed to me that there just has to be more out, more life, more wonders that our feeble minds are still not yet able to grasp. to the idea that we are being visited by ET's well i feel that if they are indeed watching us then they would be so far advanced that they would have no reason to talk to us other then to protect us from what ever.... but hey, what do i know. LOL i just firmly believe that the cosmos is alive and there is always a chance that we may make contact and that with our technological know how at this time, not to try, would be the biggest blunder that man could make. so for that reason i feel that it is a privilage to participate in seti on my computer and dream that i could be the one, like all the rest of the particpants have the same dream that they to could be the one to initialy make CONTACT. |
