Personal background
I'm from Southern England, originally planning on going into something similar to SETI when I first started, I was then researching Astrophysics. My plans have changed (I'm 17 @ 28/12/2002). I realise that I haven't processed as many units as other people but I am just a normal home user with one 1Ghz computer running SETI 24/7. I only stop when the computer is off.

I do my bit for SETI and my group, Blackvault.com. I don't care whether I find anything or whether I just scan empty space, at least I tried.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that (Quote from Movie coming up) if it is just us in the Universe, it seems like an awful waste of space. I hope that any discoveries we make are made by this public organisation and are made available to the public. If that makes me sound like a conspiracy theorist, you can't discount everything you hear.
