I am from Germany and 30 Years old by now . I love to read all kinds of books . but i love Fantasy novels . I often run throw Internet Forums to read abou all kind of things about UFO and such stuff . I am not really a believer of Aliens come to us and take people with them for experiments . I like the idea about live somethere out in space and hope that some day truth come to this .... but we will see in the future
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 . I believe that somethere out in space live exist . It can not be that we are the only living thing in the whole universe .
What will it bring . Good question .... If we ever get a signal it would be great .. that shows us that we are on the right way and maybe science would make a better way to finde something to travel out and see who they are .
On the other hand i think it would change a lo on earth . We would have to think different in a lot of ways
2 . I think it would be a good idea in some way . But if we do so in what exact direktion it would be . And what will you send and with what technologie . Maybe our beacon would not be detected by a higher species . And who tels us that other live is more advanced at we are . That is the question .
3 . Why i run seti ? I run it because i would like to help to finde out what the most people at home would like to know . I believe that it is a good program . Maybe some day the program stops and nothing was finde out but i can say to myself that i give my part to it even it was not give any result .
