Baytor is a fictional creation embodied in a name tagged to a single network device. Currently, Baytor is stationed on a single-cpu AMD Athlon machine running several SETI@Home processes and a network SETI controller. We plan to queue up to 500 packets per Node (5 machines) and test out the new network software written in Krylix for our use.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
