Supporting SETI@home from O'Fallon, Illinois. I'm 32 years old and I work in the Air Force. I've been in for 14 years now. I work as a information assurance analyst. I work on routers, firewalls, switches, servers, etc! I'm a big SCI-FI fan. Love Star Trek and Star Wars. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Well, I became interested in SETI@home when I ran into a friend of mine who was running it. Since then SETI has become very popular, it's even been featured on the TV show JAG, one of my favorite shows. I guess I figured that since my computer was on most of the time, I might as well do something constructive with it. I can't say for certain if there's intelligence beyond our planet but you have to figure as vast as the universe is, why not. What's the point of all that space if were the only ones who occupy it. If an alien civilization is out there, hopefully we'll find out in my lifetime, I'd really like to be around when that happens. I just hope that if and when it does happen, were prepared for it and mature enough to handle it. |
