Personal background
Hi,
I'm from Bangalore,India. My age is 20 yrs. I'm a student of Science.I'm a great, great fan of astronomy & am planning it as my career.I'm also a member of a local amateur astronomy club in our planetarium.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there are only very few civilizations in our Universe.
Humans will never discover them but may get indirect contacts like signals etc. from them. There seem to be many dangers as well as benefits of this.
The dangers are that there may be intergalactic wars in the far far future as any civilisation will want superiority over others.
The benefit maybe that we may be able to explore the Universe or atleast their part of the Universe, share their knowledge about this big mystery of the Universe with them.
Anyway all this is just a probability & speculation.
