I started SETI@home through a college friend in Oregon. Since then, I've been off and on but have comeback to devote more time to SETI@home and less time to video games. Currently, an accountant with closet IT tendencies.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home because I enjoy the project and believe SETI@home is a perfect model of crowd-computing. My only suggestion would be to go back to classic.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
