Personal background
Hi all

I live in France, I'm 29 and I am working for a huge IT company. I am a system ingeneer on PC. Computers are my hobbie as well as music (and especially drums).

I'am really interested in distributed computing, that's how I found S@H. Here in France, we have another Distributed computing program for medical research. It is really important because it helps scientists to understand rare diseases. So my computer does not always work for Seti.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My opinion is research for seti is very exciting. But despite space is really huge, I'm not so sure we are not alone in the universe. Maybe we are lucky people who had the chance that many natural factors met themsself to permit the Human Being to exist (I'm not sure this last sentence is really comprehensive ;-) )

I think Seti@Home is a good thing but in the same time I don't understant why we don't simply have such programs to improve our life. There as so many problems in our world and we spend so much money just to find hypotetic aliens.....

Well anyway maybe a day we will find good aliens who will have answers for all our problems !!!!

So let's go on listening the stars !
