I'm just a person who believes that if it is really true that we are the only thing out there ever then that is the saddest, strangest and most depressing thing
ever. Talk about the pressure. Damn. We don't need that shit. Wouldn't it be great
if sentience wasn't just us? I'm willing to talk to the whales at this point. They don't really have much in common with me and reference points would be hard to come by, but we all love a swim in the sea. Make that sea the whole of everything and I think we could talk. With critters, from space. It would be sweet. They would probably long mooved on by the time we heard their signatures, but that just means that there is hope for us to not burn out and die away on this ball of rock. I like people. Those of you who know me may find that hard to believe...lol...but it is really true. |
