Hi there,
we have a little community about "every-day-philosophy".
and I think that SETI@home is such a great thing !
Everybody should be concerned about extra-terrestrial life, aliens who could be
out there somewhere and maybe come to join our "earth-community" someday :)

I am pretty sure that we are not the only planet-community, there are others out there for sure...
Sending out a beacon is a cool idea - send some music :) something cool !
Something that tells about humans, about our problems and our history, and that in the end, there is always something good in every human being.
I like the idea of sharing such a enormous power to calculate informations.
It is a really smart idea - thats why I support SETI :)
The only danger I can think of is that humans are ALWAYS suspicious about things they don´t know ... and this could cause real trouble ....
