Personal background
For now its just the basics as I'm not all to creative at the moment.

I'm from London.
I'm 22.
At the moment I work for the BKSTS- The Moving Image Society (or for the fancy name, the British Kinematograph, Sound & Television Society).
My hobbies include, reading, watching films and american tv drama & sci-fi, writing, computer editing, computer artwork... to name but a few.
Gradutated a year ago with a 2:1 in Applied Sciences BSc in Scince and Science Fiction.... yeah, thats a real course! And for the record, we studied more Quantum Theory than Start Trek.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well I studied a bit of everything from Jules Verne and H.G. Wells to Hollywood SF, along the way passing through History, Literature, Science, Philosophy, Religion and Sociology and I have to honestly say I still have no idea if extraterrestial life exists.
But I believe the lack of proof or even the lack of a theory should never stand in the way of any kind of human endevour... and I also believe this is one way to discover the hidden secrets of the universe and our ownplace in it.
I'm never going to go out into space and I'm not going to come up with some scientific theory on the origins of the universe through quantum mechanics, so I believe SETI@home is a good way to do my bit.
