Personal background
My name is Collin James Docterman. I was born in the booming metropolis of Cincinatti Ohio but now live in a rural town in central West Virginia. I enjoy every little thing about life, particularly nature. Everything around us that we see every day and take for granted is part of a complex and eloquent system. I live about an hour away from Greenbank Observatory which is one of the many reasons that I have been getting involved with radio telescopes. I went on a tour there this summer and since I have been reading all I can get my hands on about radio telescopes. I've always been a daydreamer so it's not surprising that I do indeed believe that there is inteligient life on other planets. I also believe in God and belive that God is God who likes to create so I don't think we should we so selfish in thinking we're the only ones around. =) I'm just trying to learn more and do my part with SETI@home.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that there is intelligent life on other planets. However there are so many elements in the equation that it would be nearly impossible to contact them. This does not mean to give up but rather to try harder.
