| I grew up near Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, so seeing planes or lights flying through the sky wasn't uncommon. Nor was there any shortage of men and women who assumed that what they saw were UFOs, despite the more logical explanation that the lights in the sky were airplanes. As the saying goes, "When you hear hoof beats, think horses not zebras". I participate in the SETI@home project because I want find zebras. |
