Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Unsure about aliens.Think if they were to be discovered,it would totally disrupt the entire human race. For example,I see chaos in the religons (where the Bible and Koran speak of us as being the "children of God".The Holy Books don`t say anything about other worlds. What if aliens are not the friendly E.T. types, what if they are like the ones on Mars Invasion?(That cheapy movie out about 10 yrs. ago?(Or Signs?)...About sending out a beacon if there were aliens,I don`t know why it would be necessary unless it were to be to let them know that we are a sometimes hostile world and to be very cautious for their own safety. If there is intelligent life out there, they could contact us if they wanted to..Why do I run the SETI at home?Because I`m curious.I can`t say I believe in aliens, but since I`ve seen UFO`s on 2 different occasions and they can`t be explained,I know something is going on.I discuss crop circles with a friend at work and some are so baffling. So much to be discovered!
