Personal background
Hi to everyone! I lived for 19 years in West Virgina until I when into the Marine Corp. From the Marine I ended at Quantico VA where I work as a fire fighter. I've been a fire fighter for 31 yrs now and live in Stafford, VA.

I got into the star by watching the first Star Trek show, also watching the first man space fights and the landings on the moon. I enjoy going to the mountain to look at the star and wondering if there is life out there. I believe in God and I don't think that he would have put life just on earth.

I've been using my computer since Seti first started and I'm happy to help out anyway that I can. One day if man live long enough I know that we will meet a new life form, until then I'll have my computer working hard 24/7 looking for that first message.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that SETI is doing a great job and opening this up to people like me to help is great. Yes I think there is life out there, but first I think that we need to be back into space again, working on better space vehicle to get us out into space. I think that in time we will be contacted by extraterrestrial life.

Yes we should transmit a beacon for other to find and I think we have been already doing this with our radio.

I run SETI to help as much as I can and with my new computer I'm doing more. This is a good project and we need to do more as for getting the government and private company to do more also.

NASA was a good start, but now we need more private company out there and we should not let the government control space.
