Your General Loser from PA. Im 16 years old,but appear as though i am a very ugly 23 year old. I am currently an actor, and with any due work, will be further on in life. I am (at MINIMUM) very politically active, if there is a modern political debate, i have an opinion. I am a joker of sorts, sort of a self proclaimed hawkeye (from mash).
I hope to see some advances in science come through soon, because many of us are getting impatient!
Some of my Favorite works include "othello","hamlet", shakespeare's anything really.....and....The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy by douglas adams.
I listen to a few types of music, but mainly Celtic and Grunge (an odd mixture, i am aware.)

I believe extraterrestrial life exists, why else would i be here? :)
I'm unsure whether the human race will discover it, but if they do it should be in about 7 years or so, in my guess. Dangers are obvious, Viollence? hardly.....but what happened when the english came to America? The Native americans were plagued by Disease, so MUCH precaution is needed there. Benefits? technology, fellowship perhance, exploration of thoughts would be grand.
Transmitting a beacon, a REALLY tough call because you look at the dangers and benefits, but, as the human race is overpopulating and overpolluting, those dangers are worth the risk. I'd say a simple message should be sent, nothing more than, theres are our coordinates, we are in peace, Etc, etc.
I run seti because i found it on a forum i post on, I think it could get a lot done. |
