Hi there,
I'm Maurice Poos, living together in Holland near Eindhoven.
As long as i can remember i'm a huge Sci-fi fan and watch all the things there is to watch on the screen (both small and big screen).
Series like Stargate-SG-1 and the movies Star Wars are among my favorite's.
By using my computers i hope to contribute (in a small manner) to de Seti community.

1) YEs,Well asuming that the big bang occured many million years ago it all the species do have at least our age and so possibly our technology. It could happen any time now.
2) Yes, There is a wide range of things we could send. All with their own limitations. But as the saying goes 'A picture can tell more than a thousand words' that is what my answer should be.
3) I run it to contribute to the search and because of my job (manager) a lot of cpu time is wasted. I think that the project is still a great idea. With the current systems a lot more information could be provided to the users. So a totaly new GIU would be nice.
