Hi!! SETI@Home is a bit of a hobby for me although as you will know it does not take up much of your time!! I just let my SETI software run by its self.
I live in Wolverhampton in the UK, and am a full time student studying IT Maths Physics & Electronics.
I run a version of the SETI software on RedHat Linux 7.3 on a Cyrix 233MZ machine with 192MB of RAM, this machine also serves as my web and mail server which hosts my website http://www.rob-smith.org.uk.
As well as SETI and computers I enjoy working in theatre doing the technical side - lights sound etc.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Um...well my view on SETI is that there may be life out there!! But I cant garentee that we will find it as anyone more intelignet than us would make sure we could not find them!! Hey we may think we are the best but just look at our world, we dont want to spoil anyone elses as well! Do We??
