I am from the Reading, Pa. area of the USA.
I now live in the Portland, Or., Vancouver, Wa. areas of the USA.
I am a Diesel Mechanic by trade and an avid Internet Hobbiest( if there is
such a "Handle". I am 59, going on 21 and totally interested in this SETI project.

I do believe that we are not alone. I beleive they are both aware and
listening" and possible even "viewing" us and have been since our inception.
I in fact beleive the therory that they are the reasons for which we are in excistance!
I think they will "reveal" themselves when we have either become ino one accord or are about to eliminate our Species completly on Earth because of our ignoranc our ignorances.
I think the beacon would be good for two reasons. (1). it would show the "unbelevers" that there is a concerted effort to contact ET's. (2). If some of us are wrong about there already knowing we are here. than it would help attract there attention towards this part of the Galaxies.
I have just "stumbled" on this site today and gleefully joined. I did not realize that there was such a program before now.
I would like to learn more about it and if and how I can help. |
